After all the drama I went through trying to get a venue on the date our church was available...after I put my deposit down at the church and finally relaxed a little...I got a phone call from the pastor who informed me that the sanctuary is going to be "all torn up" and undersonstruction for the new organ on Oct 3 - SO after a lot of anger ony side and Todd's dad's side - the church has us set up at The Good Sheperd in Duluth - Honestly, I am really disappointed - it is significantly farther away from the Radisson, it is not nearly as beautiful as First Lutheran, it's really dark and dreary inside, and it's not where Kathy and Jim/ Ryan and Emily got married. Grr.
I went there to see what it is like and I guess we really don't have any other options at this point. So I think I am going to have to find some good ways to lighten it up in there.

Bridesmaid Dress
I finally found a bridesmaid dress that I really love. I called The Princess Bride here in Duluth and the said this dress was about $216. However, I have seen several websites where the dress is priced at $160.
I think it's fabulous. I want one.

save-the-dates
we weren't planning on sending save-the-dates, but we might send them to a select few. Here is what I am thinking...these remind me of the boy scouts (todd) and they would be fun to make outselves
